INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION - SATURDAY JUNE 30TH
The Village of Cold Spring is busy planning a full roster of activities for everyone in our community to celebrate our country’s independence as well as the Bicentennial of the West Point Foundry. Festivities will kick off with a parade down Main Street starting at 4:00 on Cedar Street led by this years' Grand Marshal, Joe Etta. This year the West Point “Hell Cats” will join the celebration as well as the Hudson Highland’s Pipe Band! Included in the planning are inflatables for kids, a pie baking contest for the local gourmet enthusiasts, live music, food & drink vendors, a bike decorating contest, a patriotic pet costume contest and of course a spectacular fireworks display.
All Veterans, members and non-members of the VFW and American Legion, are welcome and encouraged to march. Transportation down the parade route will be offered.
Questions regarding the festivities, including the parade and transportation for Veterans, can be directed to the Village Clerk by calling 845-265-3611 or emailing email@example.com
Mark your calendars and bring the family out for a great community event. The rain date is Sunday, July 1, 2018
