VILLAGE OF COLD SPRING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Cold Spring will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, via Video Conference pursuant to Executive Order 202.1, to consider the application by Richard Krupp, of 29-35 Market St., Cold Spring, NY appealing the decision of the Village Code Enforcement Officer denying a building permit for the construction of a 6 foot high fence on the north side of the property. The applicant is requesting an interpretation that the fence height limit in Village Code section 134-17D (1) for “residence districts” does not apply to the  proposed fencing.  The Site is located in the B-1 General Business District.  Should the Zoning Board of Appeals uphold the decision made by the Code Enforcement Officer, the Board will, as part of the same public hearing, hear an appeal for a variance of 2 feet to the maximum 4 foot height specified by Village Code section 134-17 D (1).
