GARBAGE & RECYCLING AS OF THUR 4/14

Again, thank you for your patience as we transition garbage and recycling pickup to Royal Carting. There have been lots of requests coming into Village Hall via phone and email to change bin sizes. We are making our way through them and responding to each. If you haven't heard from a Village representative or staff member yet, please be assured that you will in the coming days.

BIN SIZE SWAPS

Royal will attempt to make as many garbage bin size swaps as possible on Saturday, as well as deliver to households that were missed. If you don't get yours, please don't fret. Swapping will continue on Thursdays for at least the next month. Please be patient -- we are a small team in the Village doing our very best to assist our neighbors as quickly as we can.

RECYCLING

And a reminder: Royal will be delivering recycling bins on Saturday, 4/16 with members of the Village Roadways & Facilities crew assisting. Those bins will have ORANGE lids and be clearly labeled as recycling.

Per Royal this afternoon, cardboard that cannot fit in bins can be placed in 3x3 bundles next to recycling bins on Friday mornings. Use your own bin until you have a new Royal bin delivered.

YARD WASTE

Finally, we have had some calls reporting that yard debris was placed in the Royal garbage truck this morning. We have made an inquiry to the company to clarify how yard waste is being composted and will update the community when we know more.
