Residential Parking Rules Go Into Effect on Friday 3/1

The Village of Cold Spring's Residential Parking Program starts this Friday, March 1st.

In the Residential Parking District, a permit is required to park from 9am to 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and certain holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day/ Indigenous People’s Day, and Veterans’ Day), on the following streets: Church St., Cross St., Furnace St., Garden St., High St., Kemble Ave. (from Rock St. to Main St.), Railroad Ave., Rock St., and Stone St. (areas in Orange on the below map).  Permit holders may park on any street, not just their own street.

Residents of the following streets are eligible to apply for up to two residential parking permits: Church St., Cross St., Fair St., Fish St., Furnace St., Garden St., Haldane St., High St., Kemble Ave. (from Rock St. to Main St.), Main St. (from the River to 9D), Market St., New St., Northern Ave., North St., Railroad Ave., Rock St., Stone St., and West St.  Please note: Residents of the original Residential Parking Program on lower Main Street, New Street, West Street, Fish Street and Market Street will be required to transition to the updated Residential Parking Program upon expiration of existing permits.
