Storm and Street Closure Update

8:00AM WEDNESDAY 1/10/24 STORM UPDATE

  • NYSDOT reopened 9D as of 6am
  • Cedar Street remains closed to all traffic while flooding is cleared
  • Haldane traffic arriving to campus from the south will be re-routed; please watch for updates from the school's Transportation Department ** for everyone's safety, please proceed as directed by police officers and crossing guards**
  • Fair Street is closed for local traffic only from the Wastewater Treatment Plant north to 9D **Local = you live on that stretch of Fair Street
  • **the area west of Lunn Terrace is closed for local traffic only: Market Street to the north, Fish St, North Street, lower Main, West Street, New Street **Local = you live on one of these streets**
  • The pedestrian tunnel for Metro North is currently open for passage
  • High tide today will be at 10:04am and 10:33pm; expect flooding in the west of Lunn neighborhood
