Test Of The Indian Point Emergency Siren System

There will be a test of the Indian Point emergency siren system on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. The sirens in our area will sound for 4 minutes at approximately 10:30 AM. No action on your part is required for this test. In the event of an actual emergency the sirens in the Indian Point Emergency Planning Zone would sound, and would be a signal for you to tune to an Emergency Alert radio or Television station for important information.
Again, the siren sounding you may hear on Wednesday at 10:30 AM is only a test. Thank you.
