Water Meter Update Project

The Village of Cold Spring has contracted with Saks Metering to conduct a mandatory water meter endpoints replacement project in your area. Authorized installers from Saks Metering will be working in the community with photo identification, car signs, and company uniforms to perform this important project. Typically, the upgrade of your water meter equipment should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. You will not experience any water disruption during the installation.

For most water customers, since the equipment is located in your house or building, residents will need to make an appointment with Saks.

3. You may call at 877-583-7257 and schedule your appointment over the phone (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-4pm)

Planned project dates are Monday, November 7th to Saturday, November 12th. Appointments are available between 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm and 4pm-7pm.

This replacement is required by the Village of Cold Spring, but will be performed by Saks Metering at no cost to you. During the upgrade of your water meter endpoint, Saks will be also performing a visual inspection of your water meter set and record the type of piping up and downstream of the meter and its condition.
